PRE KINDERGARDEN PROGRAM

Our goal is to capture your child's imagination and love for learning

  At L.A.P. our days are  balanced and consists of following a structured well rounded schedule; which includes centers play time and outside playground times.  

  It is our upmost committment to have your child be prepared to enter his/her elementary years with a strong foundation in learning gained in his/her early

 years of education at Little Angels Playhouse Child Development Center.

  Children need structure and a variety of events that can keep them motivated to learn each day. With this in mind we have design an exciting day which includes :

  A nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. free center play, coloring time, "Little Picasso's Time", spanish summersion time, dance & movement time, outside playground time, 'Reading time" by teacher and by children, we also put together shows and little plays for the parents to enjoy twice per year.  Math and reading are a priority to that end we implement the following curriculum each day :

THE mothergoose curriculum time (curriculum created by certified teachers and purchased monthly for each student. This includes daily activities and crafts for each student. Pre writing and pre reading skills are incorporated into the Theme of the Month.  Mother goose time also offers sign language, spanish, social studies, science and music all part of the daily learning. Our kids love it!!!

Extra curriculum activities include: dance, visual arts, drama.

Spanish summersion

  curriculum developed by our founder : Pat Morales .  Our goal with the spanish summersion program is to build up your child's spanish vocabulary so that they can engage in full sentences and become fluent in the spanish language. 

  Our basic learning is also taught in spanish.  This basic learning includes : alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors, days of the week and month.

  Our kids love learning a second language and we have seen the progression of this program through out the years.  Kid tested , mother approved!!

 Before /After School Care is being offered in Aug/2012

Your afterschooler will experience many of the activities listed above as well

 as an afternoon snack and help with homework. NOW ENROLLING FOR JANUARY, SUMMER AND FALL  2012   Please contact your child's school to assign LAP school  bus route as your daycare provider.
